Christina Hite, FASLA, LEED AP serves as Founding Partner of Dix.Hite + Partners. As co-founder of Dix.Hite, she has been with the company since its inception in 1996 and served as CEO and president until 2023. Chris’ design work celebrates the unique characteristics of a place’s social and geographical context, with a special focus on local ecologies, cultural identity, history, native plants, local materials, urban form, regional character, walkability, connections and quality of life. Her portfolio includes award-winning work in Celebration, Starkey Ranch, the North Cape and 7 Islands Vision plan for Cape Coral, FL, Oviedo on the Park in Oviedo, FL, Waterlin, and Hoakalei, a master-planned community in Hawaii. A leader in her industry, Chris has been recognized in news outlets such as the Orlando Business Journal, i4 Business Magazine, Authority Magazine, and CBS Radio. Chris is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architecture’s 2021 class of Fellows, a prestigious recognition of her extraordinary landscape architecture career.
